A former school teacher who was charged a week ago with having sex with a minor made her second appearance in court on Thursday.

The woman, in her early 30s, is accused of having sex with the boy who was then under 16 sometime in January this year.

The prosecution asked for a four-week adjournment to finalise its position in respect of the additional charges that were likely to be tendered.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Sharmila Sripathy-Shanaz also said investigations were complete save for the accused's psychiatric report.
