A former casino dealer was charged on Wednesday with corruption involving a total of $10,000.

Kenneth Lim Khan Lerk, 38, was working in Marina Bay Sands (MBS) when he allegedly agreed to accept a $1,000 bribe from his colleague Keith Yong Kee-Hwei.

The amount was said to be a bribe for not reporting the pit supervisor to his superior for colluding with a casino patron to cheat the casino of money at the Money Wheel table.

He is also accused of corruptly trying to get bribes of $2,000 and $7,000 from Yong, 26, in return for not reporting Yong's collusion with the patron.
