First nationwide drive to get workers and employers excited about learning

The first nationwide drive by the national training body to encourage workers and employers to pick up new skills has been launched.
The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) will roll out roadshows and advertisements over the course of the year to urge Singaporeans to go for training.
Three pop-up cafes have been planned where workers can learn about training modules to enrol in over a cup of coffee. They can also try their hand at picking up skills such as gift wrapping and prata making.
Workers will also be asked to make a commitment to learn by pledging online to pick up something new.
