Family, friends and fans of the late John Cheng, better known as Ah Nan, gathered at a carpark in Yishun Ring Road on Saturday afternoon to send off the veteran getai performer and part-time actor, who died of a heart attack last Tuesday.
The 52-year-old, whose life was as colourful as his multiple tattoos, collapsed backstage at a club where he was performing that night.
Close friends from the Artistes Association performed in honour of his memory at his funeral before the cortege left for the crematorium.
