Ex-CNB officer jailed for criminal breach of trust and forgery
ANOTHER former Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officer was jailed on Monday for misappropriating drug offenders' money and forgery.
Mohamad Hasri Haron, 36, admitted to pocketing $4,165 and RM50 ($19.96) while he was a staff sergeant with CNB between September 2009 and September 2010.
He also admitted to forging documents to show that he had returned $1,740 to Duraisingam Rajamohan, 57, and $1,553 and RM11 to Siew Kim Chun, 33, in 2010.
A district court heard that the sums of money seized from drug accused persons were handed to Hasri who was an investigation officer at the time.
