The two doctors involved in Singapore's first death as a result of aesthetic treatment have thrown in the towel and admitted liability.
Dr Jim Wong, assisted by Dr Zhu Xiu Chun, had performed a "minimally invasive" liposuction treatment on property management boss Franklin Heng, 44, in 2009.
But he died shortly after he was rushed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital from the clinic.
In January this year, the coroner found he had suffocated after being given too much sedative during the procedure to trim fat from the body.
