To promote its motor insurance plan Driveshield, DBS kicked off a new campaign on Saturday with an attention-grabbing installation of a car cut in half at the Singapore Expo Car Park.

Through the use of video - uploaded for public viewing and sharing - the campaign highlights some of the most extreme situations on the road. Sliced in half, iced or magnetised, all three scenarios were captured on in-car cameras.

Driveshield is underwritten by MSIG Insurance. The basic value plan covers accident-related claims at over 40 MSIG authorised workshops while its premier plan includes extra perks like a loan protection benefit.

The installation will be on display until Sunday.
