A crane collapsed at the National Art Gallery worksite on Monday morning, crushing metal struts and injuring workers.
Reader Chen Terng Shing told the Straits Times that there were three ambulances on site at Coleman Street with at least one worker taken to hospital.
Other sources reported that there might be three injured workers with two possibly dead.
In July, the jib of a crawler crane at the same construction site snapped and land on the road but no one was injured then.
