Close to 3,900 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats in Bukit Batok, Punggol, and Sengkang are now open for applications.

The units, which include Studio Apartments and 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-room flats, are part of four BTO projects announced by the Housing Board (HDB) in a statement on Thursday. In total, HDB will release 25,000 BTO flats this year.

First-time applicants will have the priority with at least 85 per cent of the BTO flat supply have been reserved for them. Of the 85 per cent quota, 30 per cent will be set aside for HDB first-timer married couples with a citizen child aged below 16.

The Multi-Generation Priority Scheme (MGPS) will also be offered to those applying for flats at Compassvale Cape, Compassvale Helm, and SkyPeak @ Bukit Batok. Elderly flat owners currently living in Sengkang Town will also enjoy doubled balloting chances under the Ageing-In-Place Priority Scheme (APPS) if they apply for a Studio Apartment in Compassvale Cape or Compassvale Helm.
