Households using City Gas will pay less for their gas from February.

City Gas, which pipes town gas to about half the homes in Singapore, said on Thursday that gas prices will be reduced by about 1.5 per cent.

This is the third consecutive time City Gas has reduced its prices. In July and October last year, the company announced a 2.8 per cent and 0.84 per cent drop in gas prices respectively.

City Gas reviews its gas tariffs every three months based on guidelines set by gas industry regulator Energy Market Authority
