A burst water pipe at Choa Chu Kang Drive disrupted water supply to at least 30 residents on Sunday.
Officers were notified of a leak along a main water pipe at Choa Chu Kang Drive, towards the Kranji Expressway, early Sunday morning. They isolated the leak at 11.25am and have been carrying out repair works on one of the two road lanes.
Affected residents who had their water supply cut off or experienced lower water pressure were supplied water through water bags and wagons. PUB said on its Facebook page at 2.15pm that the water supply to affected customers in Choa Chu Kang Ave 1 to 5 has been restored, while two remaining customers are still being supplied water through temporary channels.
Repair works are expected to be completed by about 6pm on Sunday, PUB added. National water agency PUB told The Straits Times that it is investigating the cause of the leak.
