Boys' Brigade hopes to give presents to a record 30,285 people

The Boys' Brigade Share-a-Gift (BBSG) project aims to fulfil the wishes of a record number of beneficiaries as it celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

The project announced today that it will rally everyone in Singapore to join in and fulfil the wishes of 30,285 beneficiaries, the highest number targeted in the project's history. The project fulfilled 29,041 wishes last year.

At a media conference today, five beneficiaries from Awwa Family Service Centre had their wishes fulfilled in advance by BBSG and Prudential Singapore.

They are Rashyqah Anoor, 9, who asked for zoo tickets for her family; Madam Koo Sian Yin, 80, who asked for a new sofa chair; Saraswati Sinniah Nagaindharan, 13, who asked for a vacuum cleaner; Mr Tan Chin, 72, who asked for a new chair; and Xander Matthew Chan, 8, who asked for a school bag and stationery.
