Asean Chief Justices end inaugural meeting with ideas to collaborate more closely
Asean Chief Justices emerged from an inaugural meeting hosted by the Supreme Court on Friday with ideas to work together more closely.
At the meeting, which the Supreme Court said in a statement on Sunday was "very fruitful", the CJs discussed ways to share best practices in the use of court technology and case management techniques.
The possibility of setting up an Internet portal to improve the flow of information on Asean judiciaries was also raised.
Training opportunities for Asean judges and judicial officers may also be enhanced in future.
