An accident involving a lorry on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards Woodlands caused a massive traffic jam on Tuesday morning for more than an hour.

A lorry was spotted around 12pm flipped upside down with its wheels in the air. It blocked around two to three lanes, causing a huge tailback on the expressway.

Police said that they received a call on Tuesday at around 10.40am informing them of the accident along BKE before the Seletar Expressway (SLE) exit.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
