40 nabbed during raid at Geylang nightspot

Police arrested 40 people on Friday during a late night in Geylang.

This after officers from Bedok Police Division conducted enforcement checks on a entertainment outlet located at No.21/23 Geylang Lorong 13, at about 10.40pm.

The 40 suspects were aged between 18 and 43.

Of the 40 arrested, 37 were female foreigners arrested for unlawful employment offences. One female and one male foreigner were arrested for immigration offences, and a Singaporean man was arrested for disorderly behaviour.
