20 nabbed after 17-hour crime bust

Twenty suspects were arrested in connection with drug, secret society and vice activities after an overnight raid that ended on Saturday morning.
The multi-ageny raid was led by Jurong Police Division, and involved more than 174 personnel from the police - including its officers from the Special Operations Command as well as the Central Narcotics Bureau and Singapore Civil Defence Force.
The 17-hour-long operation started on Friday and ended only in the wee hours of Saturday morning in the Western part of Singapore.
It targeted locations in public housing estates in western Singapore such as Bukit Panjang, Marsiling and Woodlands as well as industrial areas in the vicinity of Mandai, Soon Lee, Taman Jurong and Lim Chu Kang.
