1 million visitors to Gardens by the Bay since June

The Gardens by the Bay welcomed their one-millionth visitor on Saturday evening, less than two months after opening officially on June 29.
Sales and marketing executive Valerie Han, 33 - who was visiting the Gardens for the first time with her husband Sim Kia Wee, two daughters and other family members - was surprised to be told she marked the milestone.
She received an annual pass and a gift hamper.
Said Ms Han: "The Gardens are really pretty. It is quite child-friendly and will be a good excursion for us once in a while."
