Woman, son found murdered in Johor flat
JOHOR BARU - A 63-year senior citizen and her 40-year old son were found with multiple stab wounds in their apartment in Malaysia's Johor state.
Johor deputy police chief Datuk Ismail Yatim said the bodies of Ms Patmavathy A. T. Samy and her son, Suba R. Subramaniam, a foreign worker agent, were found in a pool of blood at their house in Tampoi on Thursday.
"The front door was shut but it is unlocked. Police had rushed to the scene after being alerted by the neighbour who had seen blood leaking out through the front door," Datuk Ismail said, according to the New Straits Times news website.
He said police also recovered a pair of scissors and a knife believed to be used as murder weapons.
