Trees catch fire during fireworks competition in KL
PUTRAJAYA (The Star/Asia News Network) - A small forest fire, believed to have been sparked by onlookers, marred the end of the Putrajaya International Fireworks Competition 2013 here on Wednesday, Oct 2.
The trees which caught fire were located at Pullman Lakeside in Presint 5 here, visible to spectators on the other side of the lake.
Organisers stopped the show in the middle of the finale, but continued in 15 minutes after the seriousness of the fire was assessed.
