MACHANG BUBUK (Penang) - A slab of meat, believed to be pork, had reportedly been hurled into the entrance of a mosque in Penang on Sunday morning.
According to state CID chief Mazlan Kesah, he said the suspect is believed to have used the main road and allegedly threw the meat at the Cherok Tokun mosque in Machang Bubuk at about 5.30am.
Mosque assistant Saad Arop, 78, said as he was entering the mosque to perform his dawn prayers, he saw a slab of meat at the entrance, Malaysiakini reported.
"He lodged a report because he felt dissatisfied with the incident and suspects that it is pork," said Mr Mazlan in a text message reply about the incident.
