KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia considers the issue of spying allegations against Singapore as "closed", Malaysian Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has said. Bilateral relations remain intact, he added.

"As far as I am concerned, the issue is closed," he was quoted saying by The Star newspaper today (wed).

Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi's comments came after a meeting on Tuesday with visiting Singapore Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs, Mr Masagos Zulkifli Masagos Mohamad.

The Malaysian Home Minister added: "I believe in the sharing of information and intelligence with Singapore for our mutual benefit."
