Singaporean dead in second collision on Malaysia expressway in a day
REMBAU, Malaysia – At least three people have died, including one Singaporean, in a six-car pile-up on the same expressway that saw three Lamborghinis from Singapore go up in flames earlier in the day.
The two accidents happened yesterday within about 10km of each other, on the major North-South Expressway.
In the later accident, Malaysian Rasidah Abdul Latip, 30, and Singaporean bus driver Ahmad Zaki Kassim, 33, were killed on the spot, according to the official Bernama news agency.
Her 10-month-old baby boy died after being rushed to Melaka Hospital. Her husband Khairul Nazri Yusof, 34, who was driving, was badly injured.
