Penang man shot seven times, third case of gun violence in two days
GEORGE TOWN (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - A barrage of seven bullets were fired at a man in front of an entertainment outlet in Penang, but only one hit him in his left thigh.
The 43-year-old man is believed to be the chief bouncer of a night club at Datuk Keramat Road in Georgetown.
Sources said he was talking to a man at an open car park, who then shot him as he headed towards the entertainment outlet at a nearby mall.
He then limped towards the mall to seek help from friends, and was rushed to the Penang Hospital. His condition is now stable.
