SEREMBAN (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - The parents of a 13-month-old "heavyweight" baby have been advised to change his infant formula while doctors at several hospitals are continuing to check on his condition.

On Tuesday, when Kyairiel Mikhail was brought to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (KLH) for a check-up, his weight had surprisingly gone up by 200gm to 17.8kg within days.

The boy's 25-year-old mother, Yusnurlina Mohd Yusof, said a dietician had advised her to change the brand of baby formula he had been taking since birth to one that was more suitable for his age and needs. It is not clear what formula he is drinking.
