No one injured in Myanma Airways landing mishap
YANGON (AP) - A domestic Myanma Airways flight has had a minor landing mishap, causing damage to the aircraft but no injuries.
The Facebook page of the national police said the Chinese-built MA-60 aircraft carrying four crew members and 60 passengers swerved to one side of the runway on landing on Monday in Kawthaung in south-eastern Mynanmar on a flight from Mawlamyine.
The plane came to a stop in bushes about 60 metres to the west of the runway, with smoke coming out from the left side propeller housing, the report said.
The propellers on both wings were damaged.
