Malaysian sex bloggers granted bail, but with conditions
KUALA LUMPUR - Sex bloggers Alvin Tan and Vivian Lee have been allowed bail of RM30,000 (S$12,000) each, on two sureties, by the High Court in Kuala Lumpur.
Bail was set at RM10,000 on each of the three charges Tan and Lee each face, Malaysiakini reported.
High Court judge Mohd Azman Husin, who allowed the bail, imposed three strict conditions, including the impounding of their passports.
The court also ordered that Tan and Lee must not upload materials or have access to smart network devices to upload religious and racially sensitive material.
