Malaysian regulators probe another controversial video
KUALA LUMPUR - Another video clip allegedly insulting Islam has surfaced here, prompting the Malaysian media regulators to step in.
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has been directed to investigate the YouTube video featuring a woman, some dogs and captions which could hurt Muslim feelings, Bernama news agency reported.
The video, which lasts 1 minute and 44 seconds, shows a woman, known as Chatz, strolling near a mosque with three dogs while devotional chants play in the background.
It also shows a woman in a traditional black baju Melayu performing ablutions before preparing kuih raya, the traditional sweetmeats of the season, for her dogs, the Bernama report said.
