KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia's prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has asked for "all measures possible to be taken" to find a Malaysia Airlines (MAS) aircraft that disappeared on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on Saturday.

"My thoughts and prayers are with the family members of Flight MH370. I've asked all measures possible to be taken," Mr Najib tweeted.

The plane was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew when it went missing over the South China Sea at 2.40am on Saturday.
