Landslide blocks traffic on KL highway
PETALING JAYA (The Star/ANN) - A landslide on a highway in Kuala Lumpur caused traffic jam amid an evening downpour, Malaysian media reported.
No one was injured in the incident.
The landslide occured at 5.30 pm on Tuesday in front of Wisma Tani on the Mahameru Highway about one kilometre from the Parliament building, blocking off traffic heading towards Jalan Kuching and the Putra World Trade Centre.
Sentul Fire and Rescue department Senior Fire Officer II Haji Othman said the landslide "spilled onto the road, burying one lane but no motorist was injured.
