KOTA KINABALU: Sulu terrorist leader Azzimudie Kiram has fled to his native southern Philippines, Malaysia's Armed Forces chief Tan Sri Jeneral Zulkifeli Mohd Zin said, reported the Star on Friday.

Mr Ismail said feedback from security forces commanders on the ground had also indicated that Azzimudie was no longer with his men.
