JAKARTA (AP) - Indonesia has arrested five officers in connection to a video showing four tied-up suspected terrorists allegedly being tortured by uniformed security forces in Central Sulawesi province.
National detective chief Lieutennat General Sutarman said on Friday that several other officers are still being questioned in connection with the 14-minute video of the anti-terror squad, known as Detachment 88.
The blurry footage from a 2007 counterterrorism operation in Poso showed officers trampling and yelling at shirtless, bound suspects lying face down on the ground.
One man wearing only his underwear is shown with a bloody hole in his back, presumably from a gunshot wound.
