A selection of pictures from the Tour De Takong (Stiletto Race), which is an annual event in Marikina City, Manila, a suburb which is also known as the shoe capital of the Philippines.
The race requires participants to wear high heels that measure a minimum of 3 inches (7.62cm) and a 1.5cm tip diameter. It is part of the Shoes Festival, which started on Sept 10 and will end on December 31.
