Bangkok Shutdown: Thai PM Yingluck "not giving up" as protests rumble on

Police are continuing to keep a low profile as Thai anti-government protesters maintain their sit-ins at key intersections in central Bangkok on Tuesday.
Meanwhile a top aide to Prime Minster Yingluck Shinawatra has denied a report that she had been on the verge of resigning on Monday.
The main site at the Pathumwan intersection at the popular MBK shopping mall remained packed with thousands of protesters on Tuesday but other sites saw thinner crowds, with single traffic lanes opened in some places.
