Arab Malaysian Banking Group founder shot dead in 2nd high-profile shooting in KL
KUALA LUMPUR - In the second high-profile shooting in Malaysia in three days, Arab Malaysian Banking Group founder Hussain Ahmad Najadi was gunned down on Monday afternoon at a parking lot in Kuala Lumpur.
His Malaysian wife Cheong Mei Kuen, 49, was also shot but survived, The Star newspaper reported.
The incident took place at about 1.50pm at a parking lot near a temple at Lorong Ceylon.
The Star quoted police as saying that Mr Hussain Ahmad, a 75-year-old Iranian passport holder, was heading toward his car when the suspect fired shots at him and his wife.
