Anwar Ibrahim's ex-aide says he is grateful for sodomy conviction

PETALING JAYA (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Mr Saiful Bukhari Azlan said he was grateful for the Malaysian Court of Appeal's decision that found his former boss, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, guilty of sodomising him.
In a blog post on Friday, the Opposition leader's former aide said the decision had finally favoured him after six years of "prayers, perseverance and patience".
"My family and I respect the court's decision today. The truth is important and meaningful to all of us.
"It is certain now that we have to move forward... Thank you to everyone who has been with me all this while," he said.
