Air pollution in parts of Klang Valley at unhealthy level on Wednesday afternoon
PETALING JAYA (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Several locations in Klang Valley, Selangor recorded unhealthy air pollutant index (API) levels on Wednesday.
As of 3pm, Cheras recorded a reading of 127 while Shah Alam recorded a reading of 113, according to the Department of Environment's (DOE) website.
Putrajaya and Petaling Jaya are two areas that recorded readings at the border of moderate and unhealthy levels.
An API reading of between 0 and 50 is considered good, 51 to 100 (moderate), 101 to 200 (unhealthy), 201 to 300 (unhealthy), and 301 and above (hazardous).
