SEVEN Singaporeans were injured on Wednesday after an accident involving four vehicles along a highway that connects Kuala Lumpur to Pahang on the east coast of Malaysia.

They were taken to the Selayang Hospital on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur together with four other victims from the same accident, two ward officers told The Straits Times.

Of the seven adult Singaporeans who were warded, four were women.

Three of the seven Singaporeans were in "stable condition", one of the officers said. She was unable to verify the fate of the other four.
