Young people urged to consider working in logistics sector

THE logistics sector is an "exciting and interesting industry" that offers an invaluable service needed by many businesses and economies, said Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, as he urged young people to consider career options there.
"You will also have the chance to learn about diverse industries and companies and gain exposure to international cultures," he said.
"The change you can effect through innovative solutions in supply chain management is tangible, delivering cost savings, greater efficiency or higher customer satisfaction."
Dr Faishal added that the logistics industry is also "never short on training opportunities", and can help young people grow and progress in their careers.
