STI ends flat at 3,043.05 points

Buy SPH photosThe Straits Times Index crept up 1.30 points or 0.04 per cent to close 3,043.05. Among the 30 stocks that make up the STI, there were 15 gainers, 3 unchanged and 12 decliners.
Among the top actives were Golden Agri-Resources which lost half a cent to end at 64 cents on a volume of 95.7 million shares. Transcu shed 0.2 cent to close at two cents with 52.8 million shares changing hands.
The latest IPO to hit the market Courts Asia closed at 78.5 cents, after hitting a high of 81 cents. Its IPO price was 77 cents.
The STI is up 14.99 per cent in the year to date.
