Singapore shares open flat on Wednesday

Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,302.55 in early trade, down 0.01 per cent, or 0.47 points.

Around 222.7 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 102 to 55.
