Singapore shares open 0.20% higher on Wednesday

Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,266.27, up 0.20 per cent, or 6.52 points.

About 655.4 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 168 to 48.
