Singapore shares open 0.08% higher on Thursday

Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,079.50, up 0.08 per cent, or 2.36 points.

About 25.6 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 115 to 45.
