Singapore shares end 0.85% lower
Singapore shares slipped amid a broader decline across the region, as investors nervoulsy waited for the release of jobs data from the United States this week.
Analysts say the strength of the data could provide a guide as to when the Federal Reserve will reduce stimulus.
The benchmark Straits Times Index dipped 26.97 points, or 0.85 per cent, to 3,160.7.
Losers outnumbered gainers 254 to 112.
