Singapore-listed IT and advanced technology systems provider Stratech Systems has won a tender to provide a runway debris management system for the Dubai International Airport in the United Arab Emirates.

Stratech will install its iFerret intelligent Airfield/Runway Surveillance and Foreign Object and Debris Detection System at the Dubai airport, it said on Wednesday.

The system will cover the airport's runways and taxiway crossings and will help prevent potential aircraft damage and fatalities caused by foreign object and debris.

The iFerret system has also been used in Singapore's Changi International Airport, Chicago O'Hare International Airport and Dusseldorf International Airport.
