Singapore firms can bank on Tenet Sompo to support overseas expansion

Buy SPH photosSINGAPORE companies venturing overseas will stand to benefit from extended insurance coverage in the region, following Sompo Japan Insurance's acquisition of Tenet Insurance.
The merged entity, Tenet Sompo, will allow its clients to tap on Sompo Japan's insurance network, supporting their growth as they expand abroad.
This means that businesses here will be able to access the insurance policies of their overseas offices and manage its operations from Singapore.
Broader and more complex products that cover risk management and loss control will also be offered, said Tenet.
