Singapore Airlines' profit more than halves to $90m
Singapore Airlines has reported a $90 million profit for the three months to Sept 30, a 54 per cent drop from a year ago.
Group expenditure increased by 4 per cent while revenue grew by a slower pace of 3 per cent, the airline said on Friday.
For the first half of the current financial year, its earnings fell 30 per cent to $168 million.
Revenue for the six months to end-September grew by 4 per cent to $7.57 billion, on the back of a 8 per cent growth in the number of passengers carried.
