Sats sizzles with 25% jump in quarterly net profit

CHANGI Airport's biggest ground handler, Sats, has reported net profits of $50.3 million for the July-September quarter, up 25.4 per cent from the same period last year.
Business was boosted by more flights and passengers handled at Changi Airport, as well as good contributions from associate and joint-venture companies, the firm said yesterday.
Turnover for the three months grew almost 9 per cent to $461.5 million, with the aviation business accounting for over 85 per cent of the total.
The remaining came from the firm's food and other ventures.
