PetroChina supplier's books seized in graft probe
HONG KONG (AP) - A PetroChina supplier says Chinese authorities investigating corruption at the country's state-owned oil giant have seized records and frozen bank accounts.
Wison Engineering also said on Thursday that it couldn't contact its chairman Hua Bangsong. He's one of the country's richest self-made entrepreneurs.
The Shanghai-based company said Mr Hua was "assisting relevant authorities" with their investigation. It said the manager of the finance department at a subsidiary is also assisting.
Wison said in a separate statement that its chief financial officer has resigned.
