Commodities trader Olam's net profit up 26% to $43.2 million
Commodities trader Olam today reported a 26.2 per cent jump in net profit to $43.2 million for the first quarter, from a year ago.
Revenue for the three months to Sept 30 shot up 45.2 per cent to $4.69 billion.
Earnings per share stood at 1.6 cents for the quarter, up from 1.4 cents the same period a year ago. Net asset value per share was $1.351 as at Sept 30, down from $1.3944 as at June 30.
