Lack of skills leave CFOs turning to temporary staff in the year-end period
The biggest problem finance leaders face is the lack of skills among their team, said specialist recruitment company Robert Half on Tuesday.
This happens especially towards the end of financial year, where 52 per cent of chief financial officers (CFO) and finance directors interviewed said they encountered this problem.
The Robert Half survey interviewed 150 CFOs and finance directors in Singapore.
Larger companies that have more than 500 employees had a bigger problem, with 72 per cent of them finding the lack of skills an issue.
